Bayern Munich want to sign Bale on loan from Real Madrid

Bayern Munich are ready to hand Gareth Bale a route out of his Real Madrid hell this summer but only on loan, claims The Sun.

Bale has no future at Madrid under Zinedine Zidane and the Spanish giants desperately need to offload the 29-year-old in order to balance their books.

Madrid have signed Luka Jovic, Eden Hazard and Ferland Mendy this summer in deals that have cost them more than £200m.

Eder Militao and Rodrygo have also joined Madrid this summer in deals worth nearly £100m, though those transfers were completed in January and last summer, respectively.

Zinedine Zidane’s side do not intend to stop there and are planning for the arrival of Paul Pogba from Manchester United, which is expected to set them back at least £100m.

In order to comply with Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations, Madrid will need to sell some big name players before the start of next season with the likes of James Rodriguez, Mateo Kovacic and Bale at the top of the list.

However, Madrid are struggling to find suitors willing to pay high fees for the aforementioned trio and United have already ruled themselves out the running for Bale.

Napoli are reportedly in talks to sign Rodriguez on loan in a move that would reunite the Colombia international with former Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti.

It has now emerged that Bayern, who have had Rodriguez on loan for the last two years, are keen on signing Bale but only if they can secure the former Tottenham winger on a season-long loan deal.

With Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben set to leave Bayern this summer, the Bundesliga champions have made signing new wingers a top priority.

Bayern look set to miss out on top transfer targets Leroy Sane and Callum Hudson-Odoi and they have now turned their attentions to Bale.

Bale has made just 155 league appearances out of a possible 228 since joining Madrid in the summer of 2014, though has played a direct hand in 116 goals in that time, one very 98.3 minutes of playing time.
