Manchester United will hope to secure the services of Everton midfielder Ross Barkley this summer, reports the Star on Sunday.
The England international has been in impressive form for the Toffees this season, with his WhoScored rating (7.50) the third highest of all English players in the Premier League.
United have been long been linked with a move for the 22-year-old and are believed to be lining up a reported £45m bid for Barkley.
The Toffees will be keen to retain the services of the attacker, especially as reports suggest Romelu Lukaku will be departing Goodison Park at the end of the season.
United will have another chance to monitor Barkley's progress when they host Everton on Sunday afternoon.
