Despite the high profile return of Cristiano Ronaldo last month, Manchester United remain keen on Borussia Dortmund hitman Erling Haaland, reports the Express.
Ronaldo has made an impressive return to United after his move back to the Premier League side was made official on deadline day.
Indeed, Ronaldo has scored three goals in two games following his move from Juventus to United and is expected to start against West Ham today.
However, despite his good form, United are still in the hunt for Haaland, who has made an exceptional start to the season.
The 21-year-old has scored five goals and provided three assists for the Bundesliga outfit in 2021/22 and his superb form has seen him linked with a monster move away from Borussia Dortmund next year.
Chelsea were heavily linked with a move for Haaland over the summer before eventually re-signing Romelu Lukaku from Inter.
Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in the Norwegian, but Borussia Dortmund slapped a £160m asking price on the frontman to ward off interest.
Reports suggest that Haaland has a release clause in his contract that will become active next year, which will see him become available for as little as £68m.
