Sheffield United demand £32m for Arsenal target Ramsdale
Sheffield United have told Arsenal to cough up £32m to sign Aaron Ramsdale this summer, reports The Times.
The Gunners have earmarked Ramsdale as a top transfer target to seriously push Bernd Leno for the No.1 spot next season.
Mikel Arteta needs to sign a new goalkeeper after Mat Ryan's loan spell ended at the end of last season.
Arsenal have already had two offers rejected for Ramsdale and they face the prospect of forking out an eye-watering fee to land him.
Despite being relegated to the Championship last season, Sheffield United are in no mood to let Ramsdale go on the cheap.
Arsenal's pursuit of the 23-year-old has not gone down well with supporters, who were miffed with the club decided to sell Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa for £20m last summer.

Martinez had a stellar debut season for Villa, capped off by winning Copa America with Argentina this summer, and is arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
Ramsdale, meanwhile, has been relegated from the Premier League two seasons in a row and was the 14th best-rated goalkeeper in the division in 2020/21.
The 23-year-old, who earned a late call-up to England's Euro 2020 squad, has conceded 125 goals in 75 Premier League appearances.
