Swansea are weighing up a move to re-sign Wilfried Bony from Manchester City this summer, reports The Daily Mail.
Bony left Swansea to join the Premier League giants in a £25m deal in January 2015 but is free to leave the club this summer after failing to make any impression at the club.
The Ivory Coast international spent last season on loan at Stoke after being deemed surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola but the Potters opted against making his stay permanent following a thoroughly disappointing campaign.
Bony has been left out of City’s pre-season tour of America in a bid to complete a move away from the Etihad, but his reported £100,000-a-week wages will prove a major stumbling block for any side interested in the 28-year-old.
Swansea have already signed Tammy Abraham on loan from Chelsea this summer but are keen to reinforce their offensive options further with Fernando Llorente poised to miss the start of the season with a broken arm.
Since leaving Swansea at the start of 2015, Bony has only managed to score six Premier League goals in 36 appearances for City and Stoke.
