Bournemouth have announced the arrival of Leganes defender Diego Rico on a four-year deal running until 2022.
The Cherries have been heavily linked with a move for Rico for the last few weeks and even fended off late competition from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund for his signature.
Rico has spent the last two years with Spanish side Leganes and developed into a well-rounded left-back during that time, convincing Bournemouth to shell out in excess of £10m for his services.

“This is a new step for me in my career and from my heart I can say I am truly excited to be here and looking forward to the future.
“I have heard so much about the manager. I learned he is very professional and has a great philosophy on football and I can see that is true from the short time I have met him so far.
“I am very excited to be a Bournemouth player.”
The 25-year-old is the second player Bournemouth have signed this summer, joining 20-year-old David Brooks in strengthening Eddie Howe’s options ahead of the new season.
With Charlie Daniels approaching his 32nd birthday, Howe has sought out Rico in order to provide competition for places with the English defender.
Rico averaged more interceptions per game than any other player in La Liga last season (2.9).
