Atletico Madrid outcast Thomas Lemar has been offered to Tottenham on loan for the remainder of the season, claims The Independent.
Lemar has fallen out of favour under Diego Simeone and the Atletico head coach has also confirmed the France international could leave the club this window.
Atletico shelled out £52.7m to sign Lemar from French side Monaco in the summer of 2018 but the 24-year-old has failed to make a significant impact at the club.
Tottenham have been given the chance to sign Lemar on a six-month loan with an option to make his move permanent at the end of the campaign for €60m (£51m).
A loan fee of €6m (£5.1m) is suggested to be enough to prise Lemar away from Atletico and bring him to the Premier League.
Lemar was linked with a move to the Premier League before joining Atletico and came close to signing for Liverpool in 2017.
The French winger has made 15 league appearances this season, though only nine of those have been starts, and is yet to score a goal or register an assist.
Since joining Atletico, Lemar has only managed three goals and three assists in 46 league appearances.
