Handful of Premier League teams interested in Werder Bremen star

A handful of Premier League teams, including Europa League chasing Wolves, are interested in signing Werder Bremen ace Milot Rashica, reports Sky Sports.

Rashica has been a shining light in this relegation threatened Werder Bremen side, who were plunged into further top-flight uncertainty following a 4-1 loss at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen on Monday night.

The 23-year-old has scored seven goals and provided four assists in the Bundesliga this season and his performances have attracted interest from England.

Along with Wolves, Aston Villa, West Ham and Brighton are all keeping tabs on the young forward, who had been courted by Liverpool earlier this year.

However, the Reds' decision to sign Takumi Minamino from Salzburg in January means the quartet can fight it out for Rashica this summer as they each look to add attacking reinforcements.

There is interest from Germany in Rashica, though, with title chasing pair Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig both monitoring his situation with Werder Bremen.

Monday's defeat leaves Werder Bremen nine points off safety and five below Fortuna Duesseldorf in the relegation playoff spot.
