Everton have been monitoring the progress of Athletic Club winger Inaki Williams, according to AS.
Williams, 21, is the latest prodigy to come through the Athletic academy and has courted attention from a number of English clubs following a series of impressive displays this season.
However, according to reports in Spain, Everton are leading the race for the Athletic winger.
The Spanish club are well aware of the interest Williams’ is attracting and they are reportedly hopeful of giving the youngster a bumper contract to stay for the long-term.
Williams scored twice and was named the WhoScored man of the match in Athletic’s 3-1 win over Real Betis at the weekend to become the club’s second top goalscorer in the league this season.
