Summer signing insists he is not leaving Tottenham

Moussa Sissoko has insisted he has no plans to leave Tottenham at the end of the season.

Reports last week suggested Spurs would be willing to cash in on the France international having made just six Premier League starts under Mauricio Pochettino following his club-record arrival from Newcastle.

A return to France has been mooted for Sissoko, who has not started a competitive match for Spurs since their 1-0 Europa League defeat to Gent last month.

What’s more is that the 27-year-old has totalled just 58 minutes of action in Spurs’ last 10 Premier League fixtures, heightening reports that a White Hart Lane exit after just a solitary campaign in north London was on the cards.

However, in an Instagram live video, via the London Evening Standard, the Frenchman said when quizzed on his future at the club: “I'm not leaving Tottenham at the moment. I'm very happy.”

Sissoko has failed to replicate his Euro 2016 form with Spurs, gaining a WhoScored rating of just 6.48 in the Premier League this season.
