Tottenham’s valuation for Vincent Janssen revealed

Vincent Janssen is free to leave Tottenham this month but the north London outfit have slapped a £12m asking price on his head, claims The Daily Telegraph.

The 24-year-old has no future at Tottenham after failing to make any impression since joining from AZ Alkmaar for £17m in the summer of 2016.

Janssen, who underwent foot surgery in August, has been training with the reserves this season after been exiled from the first-team by Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino even dismissed the idea Janssen could salvage his Tottenham career after Harry Kane was ruled out until March with ankle ligament damage.

With Son Heung-min at the Asian Cup, Tottenham are short of options up front but there still isn’t a place in Pochettino’s squad for Janssen.

Janssen made 16 league appearances during a loan spell at Fenerbahce last season and scored four goals.

At Tottenham, however, the former Netherlands international has only scored two goals in 28 Premier League appearances, one of which was a penalty.
