Dann commits future to Palace with bumper deal

Scott Dann has committed his long-term future to Crystal Palace, signing a bumper new 5-year contract with the Eagles.

The centre-back was named Palace's player of the season in 2014/15 and it is believed that the club have handed the 28-year-old a substantial increase in wages to ward off apparent interest from the likes of Everton.

The news will be a relief to the fans who may have feared losing one of their prized assets from last season and will now be in even higher spirits following the signing of Yohan Cabaye last week.
