Chelsea are looking to sign Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana as a replacement for Kepa, who has been linked with a loan move to Valencia, reports Marca via The Sunday Express.
Kepa moved to the Blues from Athletic Club two years ago for a world record £71m, but has failed to live up to expectations at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are now considering cutting their losses on the Spaniard, who has been linked with a return to Spain.
And it's likely Frank Lampard will sanction his exit provided they can bring in a suitable replacement.
Onana is believed to be top of Lampard's wish list, with the Cameroonian tipped to leave the Dutch side this summer.
Ajax chief executive Edwin van der Sar has confirmed that Onana will be allowed to leave the Eredivisie giants provided a potential suitor pays the asking price for the 24-year-old.
Barcelona and PSG are reported to be interested in Onana, so Chelsea won't have a straight shot at the goalkeeper.
Chelsea have a good working relationship with the Dutch side having signed Hakim Ziyech already this year and they could yet return to Amsterdam for the goalkeeper.
