Real Madrid are considering a summer move for Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite, according to the Daily Mail.
Branthwaite has been a revelation for the Toffees this season, nailing down a starting spot under Sean Dyche.
Everton boast the sixth best defensive record in the Premier League having conceded just 28 league goals and Branthwaite's form has been vital to their defensive resolve.
And the 21-year-old's performance have not gone unnoticed with Tottenham and Manchester United both credited with an interest in the defender in recent weeks.
Real Madrid have since been linked with a move for the England hopeful, who signed a new deal at Goodison Park until 2027 back in October.
Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti, who recently penned a contract extension at the Bernabeu, is well versed in Branthwaite's capabilities having handed the centre-back his debut during their time together at Everton.
The Toffees star has made 30 interceptions in the Premier League this season, that ranking joint-fifth in England's top tier, to reinforce a statistically calculated WhoScored strength of 'ball interception'.
