Bundesliga surprise package RB Leipzig have set their sights on former Manchester City central midfielder Seko Fofana, according to Sky Sports Italia, via Football Italia.
Fofana spent three years at City before joining Udinese in June in a deal worth £2.5m and the 21-year-old has made an impressive start to life in Serie A.
The former France Under-19 international’s displays have caught the eye of newly promoted side RB Leipzig, who have reportedly contacted Udinese regarding a potential January move.
Leipzig are currently level on points with Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga and have achieved immense success through their impressive recruitment strategy, with Fofana the latest talent in their sights.
