Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez has his eyes on a move to Chelsea after falling out with manager Rafael Benitez, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon.
Rodriguez, 24, joined Madrid after the World Cup in 2014 and has been billed as the future of the team alongside Gareth Bale when Cristiano Ronaldo finally moves on.
However, Rodriguez could now call time on his Madrid career after falling out with Benitez, and his agent Jorge Mendes is also keen to broker the move with Ronaldo set to stay at Madrid.
The Colombia international has been linked with a variety of clubs across Europe since the start of the season but Chelsea are believed to be his preferred choice.
Since the start of last season, only Nolito (2.7) is creating more chances per game than Rodriguez (2.6) in La Liga, furthering his statistically calculated strength of 'key passes'.
