FC Basel have turned down an offer of €25m (£18.4m) from Wolfsburg for highly-rated teenager Breel Embolo, according to Goal.com.
Embolo, 18, has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe including Juventus, but it is Wolfsburg who have tried to snare his services ahead of the January transfer window.
The Switzerland international has scored one goal from his two Europa League appearances so far this season, having registered a further three goals in seven league appearances as well.
