Real Madrid are becoming increasingly confident they can sign PSG attacker Neymar this summer, reports the Independent.
Neymar became the most expensive player of all time when he left Barcelona for PSG last summer for £198m.
However, rumours continue to circulate suggesting Real Madrid have made the Brazil international their number one summer target.
PSG are adamant that Neymar won’t be sold and that he is happy in Paris, yet Real Madrid are hoping to make the 26-year-old their next Galactico capture.
Real Madrid are expected to undergo a huge overhaul this summer, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Keylor Navas, among others, set to be replaced.
A new goalkeeper is also a port of call for Real Madrid, but Neymar is the number one target for Los Blancos.
Real Madrid host PSG in the Champions League tonight, with Neymar looking to add his fifth WhoScored man of the match of the competition this season at the Bernabeu.
