Inter will move for Gareth Bale if Real Madrid look to offload the former Tottenham star this summer, claims The Independent.
Bale has been heavily linked with a move away from Madrid this season after dropping down the pecking order under Zinedine Zidane.
The Wales international was hauled off at half-time of Madrid’s 3-1 defeat to Juventus in midweek all but signalling the end of his time at the club.
Manchester United have previously failed in their attempts to prise Bale away from the Spanish giants but are believed to have cooled their interest since then.
Bale announced himself on the European scene when he scored a stunning hat-trick against Inter in October 2010 and now the Serie A giants want to prise him to Italy eight years later.
The 28-year-old has been limited to just 16 starts in La Liga this season, making a further five appearances from the bench. Despite that, Bale has still played a direct hand in 13 goals (11 goals, two assists).
