Manchester United reveal price to sign wantaway midfielder

Manchester United are prepared to listen to offers as low as £100m for wantaway midfielder Paul Pogba, reports The Sun.

The Frenchman was heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford last summer, but a switch to Real Madrid failed to materialise, no matter how hard head coach Zinedine Zidane pushed to land his compatriot.

However, United are now prepared to cut their losses on Pogba, with the Premier League side willing to cash in on the France international for £100m.

While still steep, it's a far cry from the rumoured £180m United were demanding for the 27-year-old almost 12 months ago.

Pogba's contract at United runs until next summer, though the club have the option to trigger a one-year extension, which they would do to protect one of their assets.

Real Madrid remain keen on Pogba, so too do former side Juventus, with the duo set to lock horns in the race to land the player.

Despite registering just seven league appearances for United this season, Pogba still ranks fifth for accurate through balls (5) in England's top tier this term.
