Juventus agree terms for Real Madrid ace

Juventus have agreed terms with Real Madrid left-back Marcelo, which will see the Brazilian reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin, reports AS, via La Stampa.

The 30-year-old has struggled for regular game time this season having made just 12 league starts for Real Madrid.

Indeed, youngster Sergio Reguilon looks to have cemented a regular spot in the Real Madrid XI at Marcelo’s expense, with the left-back now pondering a summer exit.

Juventus have long been linked with a move for Marcelo, who is rumoured to have signed a four-year deal with the Serie A champions.

The experienced defender was forced to watch Real Madrid’s Champions League exit at the hands of Ajax from the bench and the lack of action under Santiago Solari means Marcelo is considering bringing his 13-year stay at the Bernabeu to an end.

And his close friendship with Ronaldo should ease any possible negotiation obstacles, with three of Marcelo’s six league assists coming for the Portugal international in his final season in Spain.
