Chelsea are weighing up a blockbuster £100,000-a-week contract offer to teenage starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi, reports the London Evening Standard.
Hudson-Odoi has already turned down an offer of £85,000-a-week and is keen to leave Chelsea in search of regular playing time.
Bayern Munich were willing to make the 18-year-old one of the most expensive players in their history in January but Chelsea refused to sell.
The Bundesliga giants bid in excess of £30m for Hudson-Odoi and Chelsea have gambled missing out on a huge sum if they are forced to cash in this summer.
Hudson-Odoi will only have 12 months remaining on his current deal at the end of the season and Maurizio Sarri has done nothing to convince the teen his future is at Stamford Bridge.
Hudson-Odoi is yet to start a Premier League match and has even made his full England debut in that time.
Chelsea haven’t given up hope completely and are now pondering a stunning last-ditch attempt to secure Hudson-Odoi’s future by offering wages of £100,000-a-week.
Hudson-Odoi is the highest WhoScored rated player in the Europa League this season (7.84) despite the fact half of his appearances in the competition have been as a substitute. He has scored four goals and provided two assists in eight games.
