Tottenham have announced Hugo Lloris will be sidelined for up to four weeks with a hamstring injury.
Lloris, 29, was forced off midway through Tottenham’s 1-1 draw against Everton on the opening day of the season with a suspected hamstring problem.
However, the France international will now miss fixtures at home to Crystal Palace and Liverpool and could miss the first game back after the international break against Stoke.
Of goalkeepers that have made at least 20 appearances in the Premier League last season only two had a better save success rate than Lloris (72.7%).
