Bayern Munich have denied claims that Arjen Robben will miss the rest of the season through injury.
Robben, 32, has struggled to stay fit all season and injuries have plagued him throughout his career.
The Netherlands international has featured for Bayern since the start of March due to an abductor injury and reports had emerged suggesting his season was already over, claims which Bayern have since refuted.
“The reports that Arjen is out for the season are false. We should assume he will play again this season,” Bayern’s press officer Markus Horwick is quoted as saying by FourFourTwo.
The former Real Madrid winger has been limited to just 14 starts in the Bundesliga this season, which is currently is lowest return in a Bayern shirt since the 2010/11 campaign.
Since the start of last season only Robert Lewandowski (4.1) averages more shots per game in the Bundesliga than Robben (3.9).
