Tottenham prepared to cash in on England international

Tottenham are willing to let wantaway star Kyle Walker leave at the end of the season, reports the Sunday Mirror.

Walker has been heavily linked with a transfer away from the north London outfit this summer, with a move to Manchester City supposedly on the cards.

City boss Pep Guardiola is looking to strengthen at full-back once the transfer window opens and has earmarked Walker as a possible target.

Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old, but Spurs won’t be prepared to sell on the cheap, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side demanding upwards of £40m for the England international.

Walker is considered by some to be the most expendable member of the Spurs squad and he has recently lost his first team spot in the starting XI, with Kieran Trippier preferred at right-back under Pochettino of late.

Bayern Munich have also been monitoring Walker’s situation at the club as they look to improve at right-back following Philipp Lahm’s retirement from the game on Saturday, but City are leading the race to secure his services.
