Mourinho makes decision on Manchester United re-signing Ibrahimovic
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has rubbished reports suggesting he will look to re-sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January.
Ibrahimovic spent nearly two seasons at United before leaving to join LA Galaxy in March.
The 37-year-old was a huge success for United but failed to rediscover his best form after suffering a career-threatening knee injury in April 2017.
Ibrahimovic has been a revelation in MLS for LA Galaxy and his form has even prompted reports linking him with a sensational return to Europe.
Real Madrid, AC Milan and United have been linked with January moves for the former Sweden international.
Mourinho has lamented his lack of options in attack in the last week, preventing him from resting star striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Portuguese has also endured a strained relationship with the United dressing room and Ibrahimovic is one of his most trusted lieutenants.
However, Mourinho told Sky Sports that there is no truth in suggestions the club will entertain a possible return for Ibrahimovic.
Ibrahimovic has scored 22 goals in 26 MLS appearances for LA Galaxy this season and is the highest WhoScored rated player in the league (7.85).
