Crystal Palace striker plotting lucrative move to China

Christian Benteke wants to leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season and his advisors are trying to broker a lucrative move to China, claims The Sun on Sunday.

The 27-year-old is only in his second season at Palace after moving to Selhurst Park from Liverpool in a deal worth £27m.

Benteke has been frequently linked with a move away from Palace in that period and even emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea in January.

Palace are happy to let the Belgium international leave if they can recoup as much as £20m for his services and a move to China is now on the cards.
