Swansea will not entertain offers for star man Gylfi Sigurdsson unless rival clubs match their £35m valuation, reports The Daily Mail.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman was interested in signing the Iceland international in the summer but Sigurdsson stayed put at Swansea and has enjoyed his best season to date.
With Romelu Lukaku considering his future at the club, Koeman is determined more than ever to add star quality to his squad but will need to break the club’s transfer record in order to land Sigurdsson.
Swansea, who signed Sigurdsson back from Tottenham in a swap deal that saw Ben Davies and Michel Vorm go the other way in 2014, will look to secure maximum value but they will struggle to get in excess of £30m if they are relegated to the Championship this season.
No midfielder has scored or assisted more goals in the Premier League this season than Sigurdsson (19), while no player has provided more assists in Europe’s top five leagues this term than the 27-year-old (11).
