Bayern Munich have entered the race for Chelsea target Moussa Dembele and are readying a £30m move for the Celtic striker in the summer, reports The Daily Mirror.
Dembele, 20, was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea in the January transfer window and Antonio Conte’s side are still monitoring his progress with a view to a summer move.
However, the Premier League leaders will now face stiff competition from German giant Bayern, which could complicate any potential deal Chelsea were hoping to strike at the end of the season.
The France Under-21 international made the bold decision to leave Fulham for Celtic last summer but it has only seen his stock rise after turning in some fantastic performances for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season.
Celtic only scored four goals in the Champions League group stages this season and Dembele was the scorer of three of those after netting a brace in an impressive performance against Manchester City back in September. In fact, Dembele has scored two hat-tricks in his last three appearances for Celtic.
