Arsenal star and Liverpool target top Barcelona’s wish list

Barcelona are targetting up to five new players in the January transfer window, including Arsenal creator Mesut Ozil and Liverpool target Leon Goretzka, according to Marca via the Daily Express. 

The La Liga leaders are desperate to add strength in depth to their squad next month having done little business over the summer. 

Ozil has been linked with a return to Spain and a switch to Barcelona is on the cards, though Manchester United have also been tracking the Gunners ace. 

Goretzka has been attracting interest from a number of top teams, with Liverpool looking into the Germany international, though Manchester City and Barcelona are both courting the Schalke 04 man. 

Yerry Mina is another who is on Barcelona’s radar as the La Liga side look to improve their defensive options. 

Nabil Fekir and Aleksandr Golovin make up the five-man shortlist for the Blaugrana, with Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde looking to trim the squad. 

Arda Turan, Aleix Vidal and Gerard Deulofeu are among those who are free to leave Camp Nou in January.
