Atletico Madrid have been told they will have to pay at least €30m (£27.1m) to sign Goncalo Guedes, according to Portuguese outlet A Bola, via Football Espana.
Guedes, 19, is one of the most sought after teenagers in Europe and has previously been linked with a host of Premier League clubs.
The Portugal international has been dubbed the next Cristiano Ronaldo in his homeland but any side interested in his services have reportedly been told by Benfica to use Renato Sanches’ summer sale to Bayern Munich as a reference point.
Atletico are currently the frontrunners for his signature but will not be able to make any move until January 2018 due to their FIFA-imposed transfer ban.
Guedes has started five Liga Nos matches for Benfica this season and registered one assist in that time. Only teammate Andre Horta (501) has featured in more minutes in the Liga Nos this season than Guedes (450) of all teenagers in the division.
