United outcast included in Mourinho’s Premier League squad

Bastian Schweinsteiger has been included in Manchester United’s Premier League squad for the upcoming campaign.

The former Germany international has been forced to train with the reserves at United and seemingly has no future at Old Trafford despite being 12 months into his three-year deal.

Schweinsteiger, 32, refused to leave United in the summer transfer window and admits it is his dream to play at Old Trafford again this season, which he may now do after being included in Mourinho’s squad.

However, United have fared far better without the veteran in the team since the start of last season. A win ratio of just 38.5% with Schweinsteiger in the starting XI is a huge dip on the 60.7% success rate United have without him in the league.
