Liverpool and Arsenal tracking young French centre-back
Premier League pair Liverpool and Arsenal are keeping tabs on young Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back Evan Ndicka as they each aim at bolstering their defence, reports Sky Sports.
The 20-year-old has flittered in and out of the Eintracht starting XI this season, making 14 league starts before the Bundesliga was suspended.
Ndicka is a rare breed in that he is a young, left footed centre-back, which appeals to a number of Europe's top sides.
Indeed, Liverpool and Arsenal wouldn't have a free run at the Frenchman, with interest emanting from Spain and Italy, too.
The Reds are expected to allow Dejan Lovren to leave for pastures new this summer, with the Croat having dropped down the pecking order at Anfield.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is also looking to add another centre-back to the ranks, despite the January arrival of Pablo Mari from Flamengo, albeit on loan.
The summer arrival of William Saliba, who is on loan at Saint-Etienne following his permanent capture last summer, means Arteta has some young blood coming in at Arsenal, yet he is keen for a squad overhaul with Ndicka a potential signing.
