Borussia Dortmund eye Barcelona raid to replace Sancho
Borussia Dortmund have expressed an interest in signing Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati to replace Jadon Sancho this summer, claims SPORT.
Dortmund are preparing for Sancho's departure at the end of the season after reducing their asking price of the England international to €100m (£89m).
The Bundesliga outfit have already been heavily linked with a number of prospects across Europe as they start to prepare for life without Sancho.
It has now emerged Dortmund would like to prise Fati away from Barcelona and hope to take advantage of the club's financial woes to get a deal over the line.
Barcelona must sell before they are able to land their top transfer targets and are willing to entertain offers for almost every player in the squad.
Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal are all transfer listed by Barcelona and 17-year-old Fati could also depart.
The teenager has been a revelation for Barcelona this season after making his first-team debut at the age of just 16 back in August.
Fati scored on just his second first-team appearance and followed that up with a goal and assist in a 5-2 win over Valencia in his next outing.
The Spain Under-21 international really announced himself as one of Europe's leading prospects at the end of last year in the Champions League.
Fati was brought off the bench with five minutes remaining in Barcelona's match away to Inter with the scoreline at 1-1 only to score within 60 second and hand his side all three points.
The teenage winger also played an important role in Barcelona's 2-1 win at home to Levante at the start of February with a first half brace.
