Gotze hints at Bayern exit

Clubs around Europe have been put on high alert after Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze hinted he could leave the Bundesliga champions this summer.

Gotze, 23, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bavarian outfit since the end of last season and looked set to join Juventus last month.

However, speculation had cooled in recent weeks before the Germany international suggested his future at Bayern remains uncertain following their 3-0 pre-season win over AC Milan on Tuesday.

Gotze hints at Bayern exit

“I played a pretty good game today. Now we will see what will happen,” the Bayern midfielder is quoted as saying by The Guardian. “It is clear that the last two years were not that easy.

“We will see what happens. We will see if he [Bayern boss Pep Guardiola] will speak to me more often. Now I will just let things come to me. For anything else we will have to see.”

Despite struggling to make an impact under Guardiola, no outfit player started more games than Gotze (28) in the Bundesliga last season and only three of his teammates scored more league goals (9).
