Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio admits he knows nothing about a potential return to the Bernebau in January.
Asensio, 19, is currently on a season-long loan at Espanyol but there have been suggestions Madrid could recall the Spain U21 international following a fine start to the season.
However, the Espanyol midfielder insists there haven’t been any talks about his return.
“For now I don’t know anything, I am focused on Espanyol and those are just rumours. I know that Madrid are following me and that always gives confidence,” Asensio told AS.
In fact, the teenager is actually creating more chances per game than the likes of Gareth Bale and Andres Iniesta (both 2.2) and Madrid teammate Isco (2.1) this season (2.3).
