Wolfsburg left-back and Arsenal target Ricardo Rodriguez has admitted he would be excited to link up with compatriot Granit Xhaka at the Emirates.
Xhaka secured a big money move to the Gunners last month having been strongly linked with a Premier League switch earlier in the year.
He could be joined by Rodriguez, who is expected to depart Wolfsburg this summer with Arsenal a possible destination, though Manchester City are also rumoured to be interested in the Switzerland international.
And Rodriguez has talked up a possible move to north London, insisting he would be excited to bunk with Xhaka, who he shares a room with while on international duty.
"That would be exciting, yes, especially because the room arrangement at Arsenal would be fixed as well," the defender told the London Evening standard via Tagesanzeiger.
Rodriguez, who is believed to have a £19m release clause in his contract, endured a somewhat underwhelming campaign, with his WhoScored rating last term (7.10) his lowest in the previous three Bundesliga seasons.
