Liverpool have knocked back advances from Roma and Bayer Leverkusen for centre-back Mamadou Sakho, according to Sky Sport News.
Sakho, 25, has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer and is yet to turn out for Liverpool this season.
However, Roma and Leverkusen will have to improve their offer having seen their initial enquires turned down.
The France international joined Liverpool in 2013 and since then, of defenders to have made more than 25 appearances in the Premier League, only two defenders have a better pass accuracy than Sakho (91%).
