West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan admits he would ‘love to sign’ Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer.
Ibrahimovic, 34, is out of contract at the end of the season and isn’t expected to renew his deal at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Sweden international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League as a result, with Manchester United and Chelsea among those regularly mooted with the powerful striker.
However, the Hammers have recently emerged as surprise admirers of the striker and Sullivan has added fuel to the fire by revealing his desire to sign the PSG striker.
“We have a list of about ten strikers all over Europe, and most of our money will go into signing a striker,” he told TalkSPORT, via The Daily Mirror.
“That is the plan for next season. I’d love Ibrahimovic from PSG, but whether he’d come to us I don’t know.
“I know he’s 34 but he’s a fantastic player.”
Despite being 35 later this season, Ibrahimovic has shown no signs of slowing this season. He has directly contributed towards 38 league goals in 25 appearances for PSG this season (27 goals, 11 assists).
