Real Madrid teenager joins Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund have announced the arrival of Real Madrid teenage sensation Reinier on a two-year loan deal.

Madrid signed Reinier, who mainly operates from an attacking midfield position, from Brazilian side Flamengo at the start of the year in a £25.6m deal but only linked up with the Spanish side this summer.

Originally due to bed into Madrid's reserve side, the LaLiga champions have instead sanctioned a move to Dortmund until the end of the 2021/22 campaign.

Dortmund have a track record of developing the hottest talent in Europe and had Achraf Hakimi on loan from Madrid for two years up until this summer.

With Hakimi emerging as one of the hottest right-backs in Europe, Madrid were able to cash in on the 21-year-old in a big money transfer to Inter.

Reinier, 18, made 14 league appearances for Flamengo in Brazil last season in his breakthrough campaign and played a direct hand in eight goals in that time (six goals, two assists).
