Borussia Dortmund striker Niclas Fullkrug has emerged as a potential striker target for West Ham this summer, reports Sky Sports.
The Hammers are turning their attention to other targets in their hunt for a striker, after struggling to find an agreement with Aston Villa to sign Jhon Duran.
Germany international Fullkrug, who scored two goals at Euro 2024, has entered the final two years of his contract and would be unlikely to command a substantial fee.
Fullkrug made 27 starts for Dortmund in the Bundesliga last season, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists.
He also featured prominently in their run to the Champions League final, with three goals and three assists in Europe last term.
West Ham are also believed to hold an interest in Villarreal forward Alexander Sorloth, who scored an impressive 23 goals in La Liga last season.
