Jan Oblak is disappointed with Atletico Madrid and has no intentions of renewing his contract with the club, claims AS.
The Slovenia international has emerged as one of the best goalkeepers in the world in recent years and has a €100m release clause in his existing deal.
Oblak’s camp believe promises made last season have not been followed through and Diego Simeone’s side have had more than enough time to resolve them.
The 25-year-old has three years left to run on his current contract and has no desire to sit down and thrash out new terms with Atletico at the moment.
Liverpool sounded out Oblak during the summer but could not justify matching his buy-out clause before signing Alisson from Roma for more than £60m.
Atletico still have a lot of time to resolve the situation but Oblak would not be short of suitors if he wants to leave the club.
In the last three La Liga campaigns, Oblak has kept at least four more clean sheets than any other goalkeeper (38).
