Tony Pulis could make immediate Premier League return
Swansea will look to appoint Tony Pulis as their new manager if Paul Clement fails to steer the club away from danger, reports The Daily Mail.
Pulls was sacked as West Brom manager at the start of the week but could make a sensational jump straight back into management as Clement’s future at Swansea remains uncertain.
Clement is not in immediate danger of being sacked an a decision will not be made on his future if they succumb to defeat at home to Bournemouth on Saturday, but the board are aware of Pulis reputation of saving struggling sides.
Swansea are currently second from bottom and two points adrift of safety after only managing two wins from their opening 12 league matches, including four defeats on the spin.
The Welsh outfit are the only club from the bottom five teams that have not sacked their manager and Pulis is in the frame if the board lose patience with Clement.
However, Pulis has only won two of his last 21 Premier League games as a manager and none of his last 10.
