Walker signs new Tottenham deal

Tottenham have announced Kyle Walker has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal keeping him at the club until 2021.

Walker, 26, has become the seventh player in the last two weeks to extend their contract at White Hart Lane and follows less than 24 hours after Danny Rose extended his stay.

The England international is one of the longest-serving players currently at Tottenham, having joined from Sheffield United in 2009 and he is delighted to extend his stay by another five years.

“It’s a great honour, I want to say a big thanks to the chairman and the manager for putting their faith in me,” Walker told Tottenham’s official website.

“It’s been a long stay here but a very enjoyable one. I’m fully enjoying it. It’s like my second home now and I’m happy to commit my future to Tottenham Hotspur.”
