Juventus have earmarked Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld as a summer transfer target, claims The Daily Mirror.
Alderweireld will only have 12 months left to run on his existing Tottenham deal at the end of the season.
The Belgium international is on course to leave Tottenham this summer after failing to agree terms to a new deal.
Manchester United have courted Alderweireld in the past and the Red Devils are a likely destination for the 30-year-old.
Alderweireld has a £25m release clause in his contract that will run until the final two weeks of the summer transfer window.
United will not be the only side interested in the Belgian and Juventus are ready to rival Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Alderweireld was frozen out by Mauricio Pochettino towards the end of last season after refusing to sign a new deal but has worked his way back into the first-team picture this term.
The Tottenham ace is renowned for his long-passing ability, illustrated by the fact he average more long balls per game than any other outfielder in the Premier League this season (7.4).
