Ben Arfa rejects offer to leave PSG

Hatem Ben Arfa has turned down the chance to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January and wants to find for his spot under Unai Emery, reports L’Equipe.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce reportedly had an offer to take the France international on loan until the end of the season accepted by the Ligue 1 champions but any potential deal has seemingly collapsed with the player unwilling to leave the club.

Ben Arfa only joined PSG on a free transfer during the summer after dazzling for Nice in Ligue 1 last season but the former Newcastle United flop has struggled to hit the same heights this time around.

The 29-year-old has been limited to just four starts in the league this season and has been forced to make a further 10 appearances from the bench. He is yet to score and only has one assist to his name in league action since joining over the summer.

Since the start of last season Ben Arfa has completed at least 47 more dribbles than any other player in Ligue 1 (183).
