Barcelona have announced they have completed the transfer of Jasper Cillessen from Ajax for €13m (£11.2m).
With Claudio Bravo on the verge of joining Manchester City, Barcelona have been forced to sign a replacement goalkeeper before the transfer window shuts next week.
Luis Enrique’s side had been linked with a move for Valencia shot stopper Diego Alves but have instead signed Cillessen on a five-year deal, which includes a €60m (£51.3m) buy-out clause.
Cillessen has a better save success rate (79.4%) than any other goalkeeper with at least 10 appearances in the Eredivisie since August 2014.
