Bayern Munich are considering a move for Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier this summer, claims Sky Sports.
Trippier is free to leave Tottenham following a testing 12 months for club and country and the Premier League outfit will consider bids in the region of £25m.
The England international has already been linked with moves to the likes of Juventus and Atletico Madrid this summer but now it has emerged Bayern are also keen on the 28-year-old.
Niko Kovac’s side want to sign a new right-back to provide competition with Joshua Kimmich following Rafinha’s departure at the end of last season.
Bayern have scouted Trippier but feel £25m may be too much money for someone that will be second choice.
Trippier was considered one of England’s best players at the 2018 World Cup but his stock has nosedived since then.
Trippier failed to produce the same level of performances for Tottenham last season and even lost his place in the national team by the end of the campaign.
Of defenders that attempted at least 100 crosses (excluding corners) in the last two Premier League campaigns, only four had a better success rate than Trippier (23.1%).
