Mikel Arteta wants Arsenal to sign Ajax's £25m-rated winger Quincy Promes, claims The Sun.
Promes has been regularly linked with a Premier League move in recent years and the Netherlands international is now on Arsenal's radar.
Despite securing the free transfer arrival of Willian and convincing captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to stay, Arteta wants to further bolster his offensive options.
Promes only joined Ajax from Sevilla 12 months ago in a deal worth £14.2m deal but would reportedly jump at the chance to sign for Arsenal.
The 28-year-old impressively played a direct hand in 16 goals in 20 league appearances in his first season for Ajax.
Moreover, only seven players garnered a better WhoScored rating than Promes in the 2019/20 Eredivisie campaign of players with more than 15 starts (7.52).
