Middlesbrough have confirmed the signing of winger Viktor Fischer on a three-year deal.
Fischer was told he could seek pastures new by Ajax having made just 10 league starts in the Eredivisie this season.
"The club can confirm a deal has been agreed with Dutch giants Ajax to sign Danish international Viktor Fischer," a statement read on the club's official website.
"The 21-year-old winger will join for an undisclosed fee when the international transfer window re-opens on June 9."
Fischer, who netted eight goals and registered a further three league assists this season, becomes the club's first summer signing following their return to the Premier League.
